Telephone Communication

​+ Consultations are by appointment only, please call to arrange an appointment at your desired branch.

+ Prescriptions can be ordered via telephone*, please allow for 24 hours before collection.

+ If you wish to see a specific vet please make this known at the time of booking.

+ Calls may be recorded for quality and training, please be respectful to our team. We have a zero tolerance policy on employee abuse be it verbal or physical.

 

​Nursing Care​

​+ Patient care is decided on an individual basis.

+ We are able to deliver care on several levels, from general ward to high dependancy.

+ Should you have any questions or concerns about the care your animal is receiving our vets will be happy to discuss this with you and their needs.

 

​Finances

​+ Fees are due at the time of treatment via cash, debit or credit card (except American Express).

+ Estimates are always provided for procedures, should treatment surpass this amount this will be communicated with you and before further treatment.

+ Financial constraints should be communicated to us as soon as possible.

+ Insurance forms carry a small administrative fee which is due before a claim can be processed.

Second Opinions and Referrals

​+ Should you wish to be referred to us or have a second opinion by another one of our clinicians we are happy to oblige and you should contact the surgery to discuss the procedure.

+ On occasion your pets care may surpass our capabilities and we may need to refer you to a specialist, you will be guided through this process by your vet. Please do not hesitate to communicate any questions you may have.

Your Data

​+ We hold all confidential information about our clients and patients on a secure computer database.

+ This information is not disclosed to third parties, such as insurance companies without your consent.

+ Your data is used within the practice for audit, training and clinical governance. Should it be required for anything other than this your consent is always obtained.

+ You may request copies of data held on you and your pet at any time. Original documentation remains the property of Barn Lodge.
